How I can help you.

The COVID-19 pandemic has thrown our lives into disarray. This has affected us in many different ways. You may be at your wits end, struggling to cope with challenges. Or perhaps you’re at a crossroads, considering making a career or a life change – maybe driven by circumstances outside your control. If there is something on your mind, and it’s affecting your life, coaching will help you find solutions. You may have been putting this off for some time, as, like a lot of men, you may not find it easy to talk about things.

Men have coaching for many reasons, personal and professional. These include stress management, relationships. confidence, parenting, career or work-related matters, and work/life balance.

All coaching sessions are confidential.

We’ll start with an introductory phone call. This helps us to get to know each other and I can answer any questions you may have.

My coaching includes, but is not limited to:

Addressing stress
Stress is proven to be bad for your health – and your life. If you’re feeling stressed, we’ll look at the causes, and work together to find strategies to help you address it - improving your health, relationships and career. Building your confidence / overcoming Imposter Syndrome Confidence is key for both our professional and personal lives. Coaching can help you understand and value your skills and qualities, and can make a big difference if you struggle with Imposter Syndrome. We can work out your pressure points and help develop strategies to deal with stress and anxious feelings. This will build your resilience and you’ll feel more able to cope.

Career coaching
I coach men at all levels of their careers, from graduates to executives and CEOs. My career coaching sessions help you plan your future, encompassing growth and development, building your confidence, preparing you for more senior roles or potential career changes. You’ll be able to face your future with confidence.

Being the best you can
Walk tall and feel confident. Be the best version of yourself. We’ll look at where you want to be both professionally and personally and create a plan to get you there. We’ll look at the impression you make, looking at how you manage yourself, your time, your job and relationships with others.

Work / life balance
Balancing the demands of a job, a personal life and the pressures of day-to-day life is challenging. I will work with you to understand your goals and needs and help you regain a healthy balance - both professionally and personally.

Facing challenges
Life throws challenges at us all. No matter the size of your challenge I can help provide clarity and support and give you a strong positive mindset. I want to see you reach your goals and ultimately be successful and happy. Making your relationships work
From friends and family to your partner, or challenging people at work, you’ll learn to improve and, in some cases, even transform relationships.

Coaching helps gain self-awareness and confidence, you’ll learn more about what you’re good at, and what you enjoy, and how best to manage stress, improve your relationships and, ultimately, be happy and live your life to the full

Introduction

Coaching takes place online, via Zoom, Skype, WhatsApp or FaceTime.

Meet me

During our sessions we’ll work on your specific challenges and goals. We’ll end each session with agreed actions to help you make your desired changes. And between sessions you can email me with your progress updates.

During our sessions, we will work on your specific goals and challenges. You’ll leave a session with agreed actions to help you make the desired changes. I am always happy to hear from clients via email or WhatsApp between sessions.

Many of my clients are based in London. Meetings can be held at my office near Liverpool Street Station, or in central London over a coffee. If you’re not in London that’s not a problem, we can skype or face-time instead. I’m always delighted to have a ‘walk in the park’ during a session – when weather permits.

Early bird sessions are available too by Skype (from 7am) or in the evenings (until 8pm) to suit your needs.

How much does it cost?

The free introductory call will help me understand your challenges and what you’re looking to achieve. We can then work out how much coaching you need. Coaching sessions start from £200 per session, and following our call I will design a package to meet your needs.

Cathryn is an excellent career and personal development coach who provided me with invaluable advice and guidance. I have gained so much from her expertise and personable approach. And a lot of laughs along the way!

Peter, London

Coaching with Cathryn is motivating, enjoyable and productive. She asks the right questions - key to moving any business and individual forward. Our sessions were very useful, focusing my ideas for the promotion of my start-up business.

Rob, East Sussex

By following a personalised programme, I improved my skills eliminating bad habits and reinforcing good ones. This helped me to be more productive and decisive in my career.

Coaching helped me understand the importance of setting my life and career goals too. By aligning my career and life goals with my day-to-day actions I feel more comfortable with my job and happier in my personal life. I recommend this to anybody who feels that he could do more and be more, both professionally and personally.

Isaac, Cambridgeshire

This is the first time I have used a coach and I can thoroughly recommend the experience. I now have focus and direction and am planning the next stage of my working life from a much better platform. I have a new career path planned which I know will be far more rewarding than before. Cathryn has opened up so many possibilities that I hadn’t realised were there for me.”

John, West Sussex

"I have found the coaching sessions very beneficial. Cathryn has helped me to make order of my 'working' day since giving up work and starting my own business. I have worked through various issues such as prioritising my tasks, gaining balance between them and ensuring that I have some time for me. I have found our sessions very motivating and it has helped having someone to help me recognise the amount that I do and the overall workload that I have. She has also helped me to recognise that I should be able to put some time aside every day for myself without feeling guilty about it!"

C, Milton Keynes

"Working with Cathryn is like taking a tonic - she should be available on the NHS!

CJ

"I really benefited from taking some time out to think about myself and what I am trying to achieve long and short term - it was enlightening. A lot of my decisions and plans formed in these sessions have changed my outlook, making me more focused. My situation has now dramatically improved. When I use the techniques I learnt during the coaching sessions, I am more productive, less stressed and happier in what I am achieving. If I hadn't had the coaching, I would still be in a mess and not feeling as if I was completing anything properly. I know if I stick to doing things the new way, the future is being anything I want - reaching my potential! I would recommend anyone who is considering coaching to do it! It gives you an opportunity to take stock and work out how to be the best you can. I was coached by telephone and found I built a connection very quickly over the phone with Cathryn and she understood what I needed perfectly."

LD, Marketing Manager, SAP

A very enjoyable and interesting few weeks of coaching sessions. Cathryn's positive outlook is contagious and I'm very pleased to have finished our sessions with a clear direction, the motivation to achieve my goal and a little of her proactive attitude! Cathryn has a wonderful ability to draw out the positives in a seemingly unpromising situation and help focus your attention on the opportunities each situation offers. I had coaching sessions as I wasn't having any luck in finding a job: we expanded my goal to look at potential careers, as well as the immediate goal of finding a job, to great success. Her approach was very pragmatic and this dispelled any worries I had that the coaching sessions would be 'fluffy' by anchoring the theoretical concepts we discussed in the business/real world and explaining how I could adapt these concepts to achieve my goals. Cathryn has been continually encouraging and made a huge difference on how I view my goals and my understanding of how I operate; this has been an incredibly beneficial process for me. ”
